2025 Summer Weekly Art Classes


This summer we will be offering weekly art classes starting the week of June 2 & ending the week of July 28. We will not be hosting class July 1st, July 2nd, or July 3rd to allow a break in the middle of the summer. In total there will be 8 classes during this session.
Registration is completed on a first come, first serve basis. When choosing a class to register for, it is very important that you choose a class in the proper age range for your child. Students may move to a more suitable class, based on their skill level, during the semester with teacher approval and available space. In order to maintain the flow and size of each class, students will attend the same day each week for an entire session.
Students enrolling mid-session will pay only for the remaining classes at the time of registration, and a supply fee.
A one time $15 Supply Fee will be charged for each session in your cart during registration. All Supplies will be provided by Katy Art School. Classes are limited to 12 students.

Ages 7-9

Mixed Media Studio
Ages 7-9 Tuesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm
This class will explore an exciting combination of tools and materials while focusing on the developing painting skills. Design, color mixing, blending, form, balance, composition and contrasts are considered, while students explore their imaginations and creativity in a supportive and fun environment. Ages 9 & up

Intermediate Art
Ages 9 & up Thursdays 4:30pm-5:30pm
In our Intermediate Art class, students dive into the world of art through the exciting combination of different materials and techniques. From layering paint to blending pastels, graphite, and collage elements, this class encourages creative freedom and exploration. Students will discover how to seamlessly integrate various media into their work, developing skills in composition, texture, and color along the way. With a focus on experimentation and self-expression, this class is perfect for budding artists ready to explore new ways of creating and thinking about art. Refund Policy: Cancelation 2 weeks prior to class starting gets a full refund.If a student cancels less than 2 weeks before a class starts NO refund is given.
