Ages 5-7

  • Art Studio
    Ages 5 - 7Mondays 5:00PM - 6:00PM Tuesdays 5:00PM - 6:00PM Wednesdays 5:00PM - 6:00PM
    In this beginnging art class students will dive into the fundamentals of art. Using their motor skills students will be focused on learning how to use the art materials. They will also be introduced to art appreciation and the color wheel. In their projects students will be depect subjects that are familiar to them, such as animals, foods, and nature.
    Cost: Mondays $420 USD for 14 classes; Tuesdays & Wednesdays $480 USD for 16 classes

  • 3D Art Studio

    Ages 5 - 7 Wednesdays 4:45PM - 5:45PM
    Explore the world of 3D mixed media art with our 3D Mixed Media Art Studio Class. Learn how to work with clay, paper mache and other materials to create unique sculptures and designs. Students will be learning hand building techniques to creat all of their sculptures. Once sculputres are fired in the kiln or completely dry, they will be glazing or painting them as well! Our classes provide a fun and engaging way to unleash your creativity and develop new skills.

  • Drawing Studio
    Ages 7 - 8Mondays 5:00PM - 6:00PM
    This class will focus on fundamental drawing skills. Students will learn fundamental techniques such as shading, proportion, texture and value. They will work with grey scales and experience with different types on graphite pencils. Most projects will be completed using pencil, colored pencil and apply color over some of the projects using pastels or watercolors.

  • Painting Studio
    Ages 7 - 8 Thursdays 5:00PM - 6:00PM
    Students will focus on learning painting skills using fundamental techniques such as blending, proportion, texture and value. They will create projects while experiencing different tools, brushes and techniques. Primatily they will learn to use watercolors, acrylics, oil pastels, or more to create their own unique works of art.

  • Mixed Media Studio

    Ages 7 - 9Tuesdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM Wednesdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM
    Discover the world of mixed media art through this engaging and interactive class. Learn the techniques of painting, drawing, and working with clay while exploring a variety of mediums. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the exciting process of creating your own unique masterpieces.

Ages 8-10

  • Intermediate Drawing
    Ages 9 - 11 Mondays 5:00PM - 6:00PM Thursdays: 6:15PM - 7:15PM
    This class will focus on advancing skills of drawing tools such as pencils, charcoal, pen and pastels. Students will learn about the different degrees of graphite pencils and be assigned their own set . They will gain experience with a variety of drawing techniques and learn more about texture, shading, proportion, and depth.
    Cost: Mondays - $420 USD for 14 classes; Thursdays - $480 USD for 16 classes

  • Intermediate Painting

    Ages 9 - 11 Mondays 6:15PM - 7:15PM Thursdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM
    Student has had Painting Studio or equal experience. Focus will be on advancing painting techniques using different tools and learning more about brush styles and strokes. Students will dedicate more time to advancing their paintings, while continuing to experience with new tools and techniques. Use watercolors, acrylics, oil pastels, or more to create their own unique work of art.
    Cost: Mondays $420 USD for 14 classes; Thursdays $480 USD for 16 classes
  • Drawing & Painting
    Ages 8 & up Mondays 6:15PM -7:15PMTuesdays 6:15PM - 7:15PM Saturday 10:45AM - 11:45AM
    In this class, we have a good balance of drawing and painting. We teach drawing from observation and help students to “see” and notice details that will help them to translate it to paper. We teach about painting in this class including the proper use of brushes, color mixing using watercolors and acrylic paint and other mediums such as soft and oil pastels.
    Cost: Mondays $420 USD for 14 classes; Saturdays $450 USD for 15 classes; Tuesdays - $480 USD for 16 classes.

  • Intermediate 3D Art

    Ages 8-11Wednesdays 6:00PM - 7:00PM
    The Intermediate 3D Mixed Media Art Studio offers an exciting opportunity to explore various art forms such as clay sculpting, glass painting, paper mache, and more. Our experienced instructor will guide your child through the processes of creating 3D art and help them build skills in a fun and supportive environment.
    Cost: $480 USD or 16 classes.

  • Intro to Cartoon and Anime Drawing

    Ages 8-11 Tuesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM
    Learn how to draw your favorite cartoon and anime characters with our step-by-step drawing class, Cartoon & Anime Drawing. From basic pencil drawing techniques to creating detailed cartoon faces, this class are perfect for beginners and experts alike.
    Cost: $480 USD for 16 classes.

  • Intermediate Drawing & Painting

    Ages 10 & upWednesdays 6:05PM - 7:05PM
    In this class students will advance their drawing and painting skills. They will be assigned projects that they will execute on their own while being guided by their teacher. Each project they do will have a heavy focus on either Drawing or Painting, and on occasion both. Students will be using acrylic paints, watercolors, graphite drawing pencils and more!
    Cost: Wednesdays $480 USD for 16 classes.

  • Digital Art: Intro to Digital Painting

    Ages 8-9 Mondays 5:15PM - 6:15PMTuesdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM
    Students will learn about the basic functions and shortcuts for digital art using the popular app Procreate. All work will be completed on an iPad provided to the student during class. Students will be creating digital paintings, such as landscapes, and paintings of subjects they are familiar with. They will participate in follow along projects to learn how to apply their skills in their art pieces.
    Cost: Mondays - $420 USD for 14 classes; Tuesdays - $480 USD for 16 classes.

  • Digital Art: Intermediate Digital Painting

    Ages 10-11Wednesdays 6:30PM - 7:30PM
    This class is designed for artists ready to take their digital skills to the next level using Procreate. Students will explore advanced techniques like custom brushes, blending modes, and animation, while refining their understanding of color and composition. By the end, they'll create polished digital artworks and expand their creative toolkit.

Ages 11-18

  • Jr High Mixed Media

    This class will explore an exciting combination of tools and materials while focusing on the developing painting skills. Design, color mixing, blending, form, balance, composition and contrasts are considered, while students explore their imaginations and creativity in a supportive and fun environment.

  • Intermediate Cartoon and Anime Drawing

  • Advanced Open Studio - Acrylic Painting
    Age 13 & upThursdays 6:05PM - 7:05PM - Painting
    In this level, students continue to advance their knowledge of the principals and elements of art. After completing the first project in the class, students will be choosing their own projects and executing them on their own with guidance from our most advanced instructor. We are offering 2 different open studio classes, one that will focus on drawing and one that will focus on painting.
    Cost: $480 USD for 16 classes.

  • Advanced Digital Art

    Ages 12 & upThursdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM
    Embark on an exciting journey in our Advanced Digital Art Class, where creativity meets technology through the engaging app Procreate. In this innovative studio, young artists will learn essential skills such as layering, shading, and digital illustration techniques while developing their own unique artistic style. Join us for a journey of imagination and digital discovery, where every stroke on the tablet brings their creative visions to life in vibrant colors and dynamic compositions.
    Cost: $480 USD for 15 classes.

  • Digital Art: The Basics of Character Design

    Ages 12 & upWednesdays 5:15PM - 6:15PM
    In this class students will use Procreate on iPads provided by Katy Art School to design complex worlds based on a story the student creates. There will be a focus on concept design for both setting and characters, how the use of specific colors and shapes impacts the way characters are viewed, and necessary visual connections between people and place.
    Cost: $480 USD for 16 classes.
